Latin Playlist

DJ Alpha's Sizzling Latin Playlist:

A Latin set is one of the easiest ways to fill a dance floor and keep it full. The rhythms do half the work, the energy is built in, and the crowd-pleasers cross generations. The list below leans on the reggaeton and Latin pop that dominate dance floors right now, with a few classics and current 2026 hits mixed in so the set feels both timeless and fresh.

I run Latin nights and bilingual events all over Sarasota and Siesta Key, and this is the mix I build from.

Reggaeton and Latin pop floor-fillers
"Despacito" – Luis Fonsi ft. Daddy Yankee
"Bailando" – Enrique Iglesias ft. Descemer Bueno, Gente de Zona
"Mi Gente" – J Balvin, Willy William
"Taki Taki" – DJ Snake ft. Selena Gomez, Ozuna, Cardi B
"Con Calma" – Daddy Yankee ft. Snow
"Dákiti" – Bad Bunny, Jhay Cortez
"DtMF" – Bad Bunny
"Ginza" – J Balvin
"Baila Baila Baila" – Ozuna
"Échame La Culpa" – Luis Fonsi, Demi Lovato
"Felices los 4" – Maluma
"Criminal" – Natti Natasha, Ozuna
"Baila Conmigo" – Selena Gomez, Rauw Alejandro
Crossover and pop-Latin anthems
"Hips Don't Lie" – Shakira ft. Wyclef Jean
"Livin' La Vida Loca" – Ricky Martin
"La Tortura" – Shakira ft. Alejandro Sanz
"Clandestino" – Shakira, Maluma
"Corazon" – Maluma ft. Nego do Borel
Salsa and tropical classics
For range, and for the crowd that wants to actually dance, not just jump.

"Vivir Mi Vida" – Marc Anthony
"La Vida Es Un Carnaval" – Celia Cruz
What I adjusted
Fixed a duplicate. The original list had "Bailando" by Enrique Iglesias on it twice, once labeled "Spanish Version." It's the same song, so I kept one and used the slot for something that adds range.

Added current heat. Bad Bunny's 2025 album was the biggest thing in Latin music this past year (it took Album of the Year at both the 2026 Grammys and the Latin Grammys), so "DtMF" earns a spot alongside "Dákiti." It's all over dance floors right now.

Brought in real salsa. The original copy promised "salsa and everything in between," but the list was almost entirely reggaeton and Latin pop. I added Marc Anthony's "Vivir Mi Vida" and Celia Cruz's "La Vida Es Un Carnaval" so there's genuine tropical range for the crowd that wants to dance in pairs, not just to the beat.

I dropped "Dilemma (Reggaeton Remix)." The Nelly track is a fun novelty, but it's an English-language R&B song with a reggaeton beat laid over it, and it sticks out on an otherwise authentic Latin set. Easy to add back for a bilingual crowd that'll recognize it.

How I run a Latin night
A Latin floor has its own rhythm, and a few things keep it moving.

I read the crowd's home base. A Puerto Rican crowd, a Colombian crowd, a Mexican crowd, and a general bilingual crowd all lean toward different artists and rhythms. I feel that out and weight the set so it lands with the people actually in the room.

Reggaeton drives, classics give the floor a breather. The perreo tracks bring the peak energy, and a salsa or tropical cut lets the dancers shine and resets the room before the next wave.

Bilingual events are no problem. If the night mixes Latin and English-language music, I'll blend the two so the transitions feel natural instead of jarring.

Requests welcome. Latin crowds always have their anthems. Send me your must-plays ahead of time and I'll build them in.

Let's plan your fiesta
Tell me the occasion, the venue, and the kind of crowd you're expecting, and I'll build a Latin set that keeps the floor packed. Serving Sarasota, Siesta Key, Bradenton, and the surrounding area.
